Canwen Wang

Hi! I’m currently an HCI researcher in the Social AI Group at Carnegie Mellon University, honored to collaborate with Dr. Robert R. Kraut, Haiyi Zhu, and Sherry Tongshuang Wu.
I study how AI can support mental health and social well-being, and how we can help people demystify and learn from complex communication dynamics.

My work draws on experiences in interaction design, computational methods, and learning science. I received my master’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University (HCII).
