HEALING THE BORDER

The project serves as a metaphor for Mexico–United States border, inviting viewers to gaze into the history and potential crises that surround this border. In this project, the air plant serves as healing power, mending and reconnecting two territories that had been divided. The purpose of this project is to explore the intersection of scars, healing powers, and nature. By transforming the “scars” (border) of plywood into a space of growth, renewal, and reconciliation, I aim to create a symbol of hope and resilience that can inspire and uplift those who encounter it.
