"Plastic Ocean" is a multi-media project that explores the intersection of nature and industry through sound and materials. The main component of the project is a wearable vocalizer made from plastic bags, which creates a virtual soundscape of ocean waves using the wind. I also created a soundwalk video, where I wore the vocalizerto to a residential. industrial, and natural area to document the nuances of the changing environments. Plastic Ocean serves as a wake-up call to consider our actions and the impact they have on the environment.
