Inspired by Facebook-Cambridge Analytica data scandal, the project uses ice as a metaphor and tries to critically address political manipulation in social media, the shaping of political thought through a sort of numbing of our political sensitivities. Just like an ear encased in a block of ice is deprived of its function to hear clearly, social media has made it more an more difficult for us to hear political news clearly. The audio of video mixed the reading sound of actual Facebook posts mixed with the sound of ice cracking.
